Accommodations
For out-of-town guests, we have arranged special room rates at a few hotels downtown. These are all walkable to the wedding venue to make things easy:
If you’d prefer an airbnb or vrbo, we recommend the following neighborhoods:
RiNo (short for River North), Five Points, Baker, Capitol Hill, Uptown, City Park West, Whittier, Congress Park, and LoHi (for for Lower Highlands). If you’re unsure - feel free to reach out and we can give you the low down on a neighborhood or location!
Getting to the Hotel and Wedding
We chose this venue for its proximity to downtown Denver and ease of getting around. It’s our goal that no one needs to drive to the venue or rent a car for the trip.
Public transportation is available from the airport to downtown by taking RTD’s A-line train ($10) and the free Sixteenth Street Mall shuttle.
From the hotel to our wedding venue you can take transit, bike, uber, lyft, or a shared scooter or ebike which are available to rent through the Uber or Lyft apps.
There is bike parking to the west of the building entrance
On-site vehicular parking at the wedding venue is also available. The closest garage is the Tivoli Parking Garage that charges $25 for full-day parking on weekends. You can see a map of the campus, parking garage and venue here.

FAQ
What should I wear?
Please wear cocktail attire. Dress to dance! The wedding will be indoors but be prepared for a slight chill in the evening once the sun sets behind the mountains.
Can I bring a plus one?
We kindly ask that you RSVP for the number of guests specified on your invitation.
Are kids invited?
While we love your kids, we are hosting an adults-only wedding ceremony and reception. We hope this advance notice allows you to arrange for childcare. We appreciate your understanding and support!
What’s special about the Tivoli Turnhalle, where the wedding will be held?
The wedding is located on the Auraria Campus (home to several schools including the University of Colorado Denver where Geneva completed graduate school!) which is just south of downtown Denver. The Tivoli Turnhalle was built in 1870 https://www.ahec.edu/services-departments/tivoli/tivoli-history
What covid precautions are you taking?
We know that there’s always a risk with large gatherings but we hope to minimize risk as much as possible. We will have two HEPA air purifiers running inside the venue and will open windows as possible to increase airflow. Additionally, we ask for your help in staying covid safe by:
- - Being up to date with all covid vaccines.
- - Taking a covid rapid test the day-of the wedding.
- - If you are traveling to the wedding by plane, please consider masking-up on the plane and in the airport using a high-quality N-95 or KN-95 mask.
Is the venue wheelchair accessible?
Yes, the venue is wheelchair accessible. If you have any specific needs or requirements besides wheelchair accessibility, please let us know so we can make you comfortable.
What else is there to do in Denver?
Denver is a great place to explore by foot, bike, or scooter! Geneva manages the City and County of Denver’s bicycle infrastructure program so check out the network of protected bike lanes in downtown! You can rent bikes and scooters through the Lyft and Uber apps.
